M.E.G. was passed on this information from a co-worker about a group of children that were in need. We purchased numerous packs of socks and a pair of shoes! We also sent Christmas cards to make the kiddos smile. The teacher reached out and thanked us saying that with all the help she received, she was able to make sure the families had food over the holiday break.
“A former dispatcher who is now a teacher in Texas at an elementary school. Her students are so poor that most of them come to school hungry and their only meals are eaten at school. She has gone to students houses and some of them live in actual shacks in the middle of the woods. She uses her own money to get the kids food and other necessities. She has reached out for help on Facebook, needing various necessities as well as some toys and snacks so she can help make the holidays a good one for the kids.”
