For Christmas this year, we dropped off wrapping paper for a local shelter, stockings, and $50 gift cards for the Fairfax County Victim Services Division 5th Annual Gift Card Drive!

More information about the Gift Card Drive:

“Celebrate the season of giving by participating in our Victim Services Division 5th Annual Holiday Gift Card Drive!

In 2018, our Victim Services Division worked more than 300 cases involving child victims and witnesses of domestic and sexual violence. The disruption to the home that this causes often results in the loss of the primary caregiver. In the true spirit of the season, we ask you to join us in brightening the holidays for these children!

Help support families in need by donating gift cards so we can give them the joy of buying food, clothing and gifts for their children for the holidays. Your generous donation will help families impacted by crime bring a smile to their children’s faces who’ve gone through a tough time.

Now through Friday, December 14, we’re collecting gift cards for this drive. Gift cards to supermarkets, Target, Walmart, local restaurants, and clothing stores will allow parents and guardians to be active participants in purchasing gifts and practical items for each child.

THANK YOU in advance for your support! Your generosity will brighten the eyes and hearts of our child victims, will bring so much joy, and most importantly will make an impact this holiday season.”

Making Everything Good (M.E.G.) has partnered with a local organization to help with an “Adopt-A-Child Back-to-School” initiative.

In 2018, we adopted a 7-year-old and 10-year-old girl for back-to-school. We were able to collect additional items for other kids as well! Many thanks to those that have contributed.

For 2019, M.E.G. adopted three kiddos from FCPD Victim Services Division’s Back-To-School program. Each kid received new school outfits and all of their supplies. Many thanks to those that donated!
